Ribbon-Cutting Scheduled for Dongell Chiropractic
The Chamber Ambassadors will cut a ribbon on Thursday at noon at Dongell Chiropractic’s new location at 719 Pleasant Valley Blvd. in Altoona. Chamber Members who would like to attend should call The Chamber at 943-8151.

Chamber to Partner on Health Care Reform Seminar
The Blair County Chamber has agreed to partner with Forney Financial Solutions of Altoona on a seminar which outlines the potential perils of Obamacare. The seminar entitled, “Financial Impact of Health Care Reform & Evidence Based Negotiation Strategies,” will be held on Tuesday, July 2nd from 1:30 to 5:00 p.m. at the Blair County Convention Center. Speakers are Russell Livingston and Jerry Bonenberger from Babb, Inc. and Attorney Albert Lee from Tucker Arensberg Attorneys. There is no cost to Blair County Chamber members to attend this seminar. “We appreciate Forney Financial’s overture to us to partner on this significant event,” explained Chamber President Joe Hurd. “As often as possible we will enter into partnership arrangements with our members if there is a tangible benefit to the rest of the membership. This is clearly an opportunity that’s too good to pass-up.” To register for the seminar, call Joyce Wagner at 944-8474, Ext. 305 or email her at jwagner@forneyfs.com.
