Chamber Recognizes “All-Stars” for March
The Blair County Chamber’s ability to offer quality programming, events, recognition and advocacy efforts depends largely on the willingness of sponsors to step up to help underwrite the costs associated those efforts.  So at the end of each month, we publish a list of businesses or individuals who sponsored anything Chamber-related during the month. They have helped us to make a difference in the business community. For March, those sponsors were: Asurion, Blair County Conservation District, CCS Custom Building & Remodeling, DelGrosso’s Amusement Park, First Commonwealth Bank, Green Home Goods, Home Depot, M&T Bank, Re-Bath, Stuckey Ford & Stuckey Subaru, Superior Walls by Advanced Concrete, and Window World.

Bryan Stroh, Senior Vice-President of Business Affairs and General Counsel for the Pittsburgh Pirates, will be the keynote speaker at Thursday’s Chamber “Breakfast Club,” to be held at The Casino at Lakemont Park beginning at 7:45 a.m. Among Stroh’s many responsibilities are to conduct player contract negotiations and protect the club’s intellectual property. The title of his presentation will be “Bucs & Bucks,” a look at the financial side of Major League Baseball. The cost to attend Breakfast Club is $18 for Chamber Members and $30 for non-members. Discovery House is the corporate sponsor of the event. To register, call The Chamber at 943-8151 or register online.
