The Central Pennsylvania Humane Society (CPHS) announces an exciting night at the races, electronic horse races, on February 23rd 2018 at the Freedom Township Fire Hall! It promises to be a fun time of playing the odds on old videos of horse derby’s that are sealed until the very moment of the race. Only 100 horses are being sold. All proceeds benefit the animals at the CPHS. Tickets are $25 per person for a horse and $15 for general admission (without a horse). The way it works is if you buy a horse you get to give it a name. Should your horse win in its derby, you win $50! There will be a total of 10 derby races with 10 wining horses. The 11th derby will be the Crown Derby! This is when the 1st ten winners race to see who gets the crown. The owner of that horse will win $100! General admission tickets do not get to name a horse, but do get to join in the fun of the evening by placing $2.00 bets on each race. Both tickets allow you to place $2.00 bets on all the races throughout the evening.. Tickets are limited so get your tickets today. All race tickets include dinner catered by the Villa Capri Restaurant and the Video races. Tickets can be purchased at the CPHS Shelter, Shields Trophy and Sports Shop or the Freedom Twp.
