Chamber Board Approves Federation Program
The Blair County Chamber’s Board of Directors has accepted an invitation from the United States Chamber of Commerce to participate in a Federation program that will provide free U.S. Chamber memberships to a high percentage of Blair Chamber members. “The program will have significant advantages to our small business members,” explained Chamber Board Chair Doug Mingle. “It will help those members to have greater access to advocacy opportunities and to be more connected on issues that impact them specifically.” Eligibility to the Federation program is for all current Blair County Chamber members with annual incomes of less than $10 million. Government agencies and non-profit organizations are exempt from membership. The Chamber will provide additional information on the program in the June 11th issue of the Blair Business Mirror.
