Signed a “Buy Here. Live Here.” Pledge Card Yet?
The Chamber’s “Buy Here. Live Here.” initiative is continuing to gain momentum as more and more Blair County residents learn what BHLH is all about. One of the best sources for information is the monthly email newsletter that features businesses that have made local buying a top priority. If you aren’t receiving that newsletter and would like to, it’s as easy as signing a BHLH pledge card indicating that you’ll try to turn at least 10% of your purchases that are being made outside the county to businesses and organizations located here. To fill-out that card online, simply go to www.buyherelivehere.com.
Don’t Forget the “Blue Card!!”
If you’re one of the people in Blair County who are still paying full price for products and services that you use on a routine basis, you may be missing out on a legitimate savings opportunity. The Chamber’s “Blue Card” allows Chamber members to access discounts on items or services that have real value. Don’t have a Blue Card? If you’re a member of The Chamber, you can get one from your employer or you can call The Chamber at 943-8151 and we’ll send you one. It’s free! If you are a business that can offer Blue Card discounts, call us and we’ll help post your offer. That’s also free!
