Penn Mont Academy

Penn-Mont Academy, founded in 1961, is a private, non-profit, Montessori school serving approximately 250 students ages 18 months through 12 years. In addition to the school year, Camp Montessori is offered for 9 weeks during the summer. Before and Aftercare programs are available for those enrolled in our programs. With the main campus located in Hollidaysburg, Penn-Mont also operates a satellite facility, with a Preschool and Kindergarten (ages 3-6) classroom on the campus of Penn State Altoona. Financial assistance is available. Penn-Mont Academy is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education's State Board of Private Academic Schools, the Pennsylvania State Department of Human Services, and is accredited by the Middle States Association of College and Schools and the American Montessori Society (AMS).
