Chamber Recognizes “All-Stars” for September
The Blair County Chamber’s ability to offer quality programming, events, recognition and advocacy efforts depends largely on the willingness of sponsors to step up to help underwrite the costs associated those efforts. So at the end of each month, we publish a list of businesses or individuals who sponsored anything Chamber-related during the month. They have helped us to make a difference in the business community. All-Stars for September are: Altoona Mirror, Blair Companies, Clarion Inn & Suites, DQ Grill & Chill Logan Town Center, Hampton Inn Altoona, Leonard S. Fiore, Inc., Penn State Altoona, Reliance Bank, Salon Professional Academy and Seltzer Financial Strategies.

Leadership Youth Session  to Explore Importance of Agriculture
Tomorrow’s Leadership Blair County Youth session will take a look at Blair County’s number one industry – agriculture. The session will include a trip to the Kulp Farm in Martinsburg as well as to Ritchey’s Dairy. Time during the session will also be allocated to discussing the “7 Habits of Highly-Effective Teens.” For more information on Leadership Blair County Youth, contact Judy Juda at (814) 943-8151 or email her at jjuda@blairchamber.com.
