February “Breakfast Club” to Feature U.S. Chamber Executive
The presidency of Donald Trump is likely to mean a variety of changes to American business. How those changes in Washington will likely play-out at the grassroots level in areas like Central Pennsylvania will be the topic of the next Blair County Chamber “Breakfast Club,” set for February 9th, beginning at 7:45 a.m. at The Casino at Lakemont Park.  Ben Taylor, Executive Director of the U.S. Chamber’s Great Lakes Regional Office, will present, “Being Prepared for What Happens Next.”  To achieve the Chamber’s public policy goals, Taylor develops and maintains legislative, political, media, and grasstops resources throughout Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. Taylor leads the Chamber’s efforts to strengthen its relationships with members of Congress through member businesses, associations, and local and state chambers of commerce across the region. Before joining the Chamber in 2008, Taylor was a legislative assistant in former Congressman David Hobson’s (R-OH) Washington, D.C., office. He also served in various positions in Ohio state government. Taylor graduated magna cum laude from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and history. He currently resides in Chicago. The cost to attend the Breakfast Club is $20 for Chamber members and $40 for non-members.  A full breakfast buffet is included in the cost. To register, contact the Chamber at (814) 943-8151 or register online. Corporate sponsor of the February Breakfast Club is Forney Financial Solutions, LLC.
