Data Security Workshop Set for December 18th
The Blair County Chamber of Commerce has put together a panel of data security experts who will be the featured presenters at a Data Security Workshop on December 18th from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Blair County Convention Center. The panel consists of: Josh Barnhart of NPC, Inc., Joe Harford of Reclamere, Inc., Tim Serbin of Link Computer Corporation, and David Wertz of PC Works Plus, Inc. It is a group that is well-versed on data security matters and who have witnessed the consequences of not being adequately prepared. Rather than simply creating a workshop based on a broad range of data security issues, the Chamber conducted a survey for members to weigh-in on specific concerns. Those survey results will form the basis of what is discussed at the workshop. The cost to attend the Data Security Workshop is $30 for Chamber Members and $40 for non-members. A full buffet breakfast is included in the price. To register, contact the Chamber at (814) 943-8151 or register online.
